The traditional Persian motif is hand tufted of plush 100% wool in beautiful tones of moss, mineral, sky, and taupe on an ivory ground. A special washing technique is employed during the finishing process to capture the abrashed look of a tribal antique. Use of a rug pad is recommended for added comfort and to extend the life of your rug. Ashby Hand Tufted Rug features: Cotton canvas-backed for added durability Sizes are approximate Imported Vacuum regularly using a low powered vacuum cleaner to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Do not use a beater brush. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends clip them with scissors to remove. Turn carpet occasionally to equalize wear. Remove spills immediately. Packing and shipping may cause temporary creases in area rugs.
